- The biggest problem with the A600 was Commodores own competition the A1200
- which was available at the same time or if not very shortly after. The
- price difference was very small but the difference in specs was very big,

- The A1200 is at least 3 to 4 times faster, its color capability are enourmous
- compared to the A600 and the price difference is only 30%. Its the same as
- Trying to sell a 386 CGA machine when the pentium SVGA machine standing next
- to it costs only US$100 more.

- In this light a A1200+ with some improved cpu speed, simm sockets & improved
- agnus (thats the current rumor isn't it) that *replaces* the current A1200
- and will be about the same price as current A1200 is not a bad move.
